Best Companies To Work For Remotely in Atlanta

On today’s video, I’m going to talk about some of the best companies in Atlanta to work for remotely. Of course one of the perks about working remotely is that generally, you don’t need to live in the same place your company is located. Stick around until the end for my full list!
So, you could work for one of these Atlanta-based companies and not live here. Or, you could live in Atlanta and work for a company based somewhere else. There are so many remote jobs out there if you know where to look.

Of course there are some career fields that are just not suited for remote work. But there are more options than ever today. Teachers, nurses, doctors, accountants, interior designers, graphic designers, IT, the list of remote possibilities is endless.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of companies. That would probably take hours and no one has time to watch a video that long! This is a short list of companies that are either based in Atlanta or have an office in Atlanta, have remote positions, and have a reputation as being a great company to work for.
Here we go, in no particular order, 10 companies that are great to work for remotely in Atlanta:
10. Calendly. If you have ever scheduled an appointment or call online, there is a great chance you’ve used a Calendly product. Calendly was started in Atlanta several years ago and now has a 100% remote workforce. Benefits include a stipend for setting up your home office, up to 16 weeks of parental leave, flexible time off, and a yearly vacation stipend. Not many companies will help pay for your vacation! A few current job openings at the time of this video include data engineer, finance systems analyst, and senior product manager.
9. Home Depot. Home Depot is an Atlanta-based home improvement store that now has hundreds locations all across the country. There are obviously a lot of in-person jobs at Home Depot, but did you know they also have 100% remote jobs as well that don’t require you to know a thing about tools or home improvement? These tend to be positions like data analyst, software engineer, and cyber threat intelligence analyst.
8. AGCO. Few people would guess that one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of agricultural equipment is based right here in Atlanta, miles and miles from farmland! AGCO has many remote workers and has been named a “Best Employer to Work For” by Business Insider and one of “America’s Most Responsible Companies 2023” by Newsweek. Available remote positions as of the time of this video include senior product security manager, global benefits manager, and after sales training specialist.
7. Soliant Health. Soliant Health is a healthcare recruiting company based in Atlanta. An impressive 60% of Soliant employees have been referred by another employee, and a whopping 90% of employees ranked it as a great place to work. Soliant recruits a wide variety of healthcare workers and for hospitals and medical offices across the country. Some of the jobs they place healthcare workers in are remote as well, so definitely check them out if you are in healthcare and are looking to work remotely.
6. Echo Global Logistics. A logistics company that helps businesses connect with carriers and ship their products across the country or across the world, Echo Global Logistics has an Atlanta office but also has a variety of remote jobs available. Some remote positions include senior product manager, senior software engineer, and technical architect.
5. Cox Enterprises. Headquartered in Atlanta, Cox Enterprises has an automotive repair division, Cox Automotive, as well as a communications division and media division. Cox offers employees a robust benefits package. Current remote positions at the time of this video include customer care specialist, cloud support engineer, and automotive claims specialist.
4. Q2. Named a “best place to work” for 3 years in a row, Q2 is the company behind one of the leading mobile banking platforms used by banks and credit unions across the country. A fairly unique benefit is 12 weeks of paid parental leave for new parents. Remote positions have included senior application specialist, site reliability engineer, and Python developer.
3. Brightree ResMed. Headquartered in Atlanta, Brightree is a division of ResMed that helps healthcare agencies manage their workflows via cloud based solutions that improve patient care, maximize compliance, and protect reimbursements. Brightree has ranked on Healthcare Informatics’ list of Top Healthcare IT Companies. Remote jobs have included mobile developer, customer service representative, and security architect.
2. Habitat For Humanity. Habitat is headquartered a few hours south of Atlanta, but also has an Atlanta office in addition to offices across the country and around the world. Habitat is known for its work providing homes to low income families. While there are of course multiple in-person jobs, Habitat also has many fully remote opportunities. Benefits include paid leave to participate in Habitat projects. Remote positions have included associate director of affordable housing evaluation, disaster support manager, and senior director of international grant management.
1. Beech Valley Solutions. Headquartered in Atlanta, Beech Valley Solutions connects accountants and those in the financial industry with companies across the United States. Beech Valley provides accounting, bookkeeping, and other financial services. The vast majority of their positions are remote and Beech Valley will work with you to find a position that fits your desired work schedule and desired time off. Remote positions have included audit manager, accounting advisory manager, and bookkeeper.
