How to Buy a New Construction Home in Georgia: Step-By-Step Guide (PART 2)
Buying a new construction home has its similarities to buying a resale home, but the process is also very different! In this video (and in Part 1), I cover EVERYTHING to the process so you won’t ever feel lost again! I have clients asking me all sorts of questions about how to buy a new construction home such as the following (which I cover in this video!):
1. Could you happen to give me the rundown on how purchasing a new construction home would go?
2. What payments are expected right when the property is released and listed apart from the earnest fee?
3. How would the design process go if we wanted specific material choices and how would that affect the final cost?
4. When would we be able to check out the property? Either during its process or after it’s built?
5. When would we finally close and start making payments to the home?
6. What exactly is the design center deposit? Is that an additional payment on top of the listing price? And when would that be paid? Closer to closing 7. Is there an average price or is that dependent on the builder/community?
7. Is it possible to get any information related to images of the elevation choices or exterior/interior designs? Especially what each elevation choice is?
8. I also see the design deposit but I don’t see a price on that. Will this be discussed later?
9. I also see the incentive is included. Should I reach out to the lender to see if they can match it? and MUCH MORE!
